Our skateboarding classes will meet weekly at the Lake Jackson Skate Park directly behind the Recreation Center. All classes will incorporate a dynamic warmup, mobility, and skatepark etiquette. Skaters will progressively work on getting comfortable riding on the board then graduating to going up and down ramps, learn how to turn, proper falling techniques, and various tricks in a structured environment. If there is demand, an intermediate class may be added to more heavily focus on tricks. Classes will operate while the skate park remains open to the public. Private lessons are also available.
